I mean, what music have you been listening to a lot of recently? I'm currently going through a Bal-Sagoth phase They're a brilliant barouque epic fantasy-metal band (their words!) from Sheffield in the UK. The songs are fucking epic! http://www.myspace.com/balsagoth Check out the song Behold the armies of... (that's how it's written, I can't be bothered to give you the full title ) to see what I mean!

At the moment, mainly Keane, Coldplay, The Prodigy and Leftfield.
And also Yours Truly, 2095 by Electric Light Orchestra for some reason.... I just can't stop listening to it!!!! Which is odd, since I don't like ELO's other stuff at all!

I've ... been more listening to Valve's soundtracks on Audiosurf I might be joining the dj crew for a City of Heroes based radio station, though I haven't really decided whether to do it or not. I've got like 22 days worth of music, but not all of it's even remotely playable on radio to other people... i like techno, electronica and some industrial, though only very specific groups and projects. Some soundtracks, and a smattering of rock from the 60s-90s. When I buy stuff I buy it all - I have one of the biggest collections of Tangerine Dream around (until they started to suck), I picked up everything I could from the Rhys Fulber / Bill Leeb projects (Delerium, Syneasthesia, Front Line Assembly, et al) things like that. I prefer stuff without lyrics.

I'm a sad act with CDs too Me and Zoe have about 235, and only 31 of em are hers As you could probably guess, I have the whole Machine Head discography I also have all the 1349, Zyklon, Fear Factory, Slipknot, Chimaira and Berzerker albums (excluding Berzerker's new one).

Got Slipknot's new one, I take it then, Lorgar?
Heh, at the moment I'm in the midst of a Muse addiction...

Yeah, I got the new one. It's pretty cool The track Gehenna sounds a lot like early Korn though, but with a theremin I'm also working on a multitude of my own projects Muse? Some of their stuff is ok, but personally I don't like em that much. Though probably because I used to know this girl who played guitar and loved Muse, and was convinced this Muse guitar riff was hard, until I whooped her *** at it

Heh, Matt Bellamy, the Muse guitarist, is pretty eccentric in his playing style but none of his guitar seems overly intense or hard... But what would I know? Closest thing I do to guitar is being hell pro at GH
