Basically, I'm asking for a new sub-forum where we can post stuff relating to computers in general, such as specific builds, or technical issues. We can discuss the latest and greatest hardware and software 'n stuff.

Well, I'd say use the general 'off-topic' for any topics that aren't Half-Life. It hardly gets used anyways :/

Seconded (MNDF) (Not that my opion carries that much weight :lol:)

Off topic is very rarely used. If the need ever arises posts made of this genre can be moved into a new subforum as and when required. At this point there doesn't seem to me to be much need.
