So, I've got this 400$ bike that I've ridden like 6 times in 2 years. I need to shape up, lose some weight, so I bought an air pump and reinflated the tires, cleaned it all off and got the bugs out of the dust on it. Went and rode a mile or so yesterday, and was gonna do the same today.

So I am still kinda bad at getting on it, because it's tall - I have long legs, so the seat has to be pretty high or else I'll get leg cramps.

So.... yeah, I tweak my neck today just by *getting on my bike*. I rode around my neighborhood for about 10 minutes and was like, "holy cow, this really hurts...". My whole arm is tingly - you can feel where my neck bone is out of place.

And that's AFTER having gone to the chiropractor and having her fiddle with my back and neck twice. :/ And of course, it's Friday, so she won't be available all weekend.

AND I just got a 2 week ban from Deviantart for having posted my Half Life gmod comic - which I have written to Valve about getting official permission to post "their" copyrighted materials.

Today has pretty well sucked. :/ It's also 10 degrees hotter by my desk than the rest of the house, but if I go out into the rest of the house, my crazy alzheimer's mom will go off on me about something new. Well, new to her... gads. I'm glad I'm already on stress meds. Now I need some pain killers :(

Yeah, I'm hoping it starts to cool off, but frankly even though they've said it's supposed to be in the 'low' 70s over the weekend? I just have this feeling it's going to continue to be in the 'high' 70s... This is at least better than last year, which we had some very, very hot days.

... Then again, our "truly hot" season hasn't really started. You know fire season in southern California starts in September and goes through like February because we hardly ever have cool, rainy winters. :/

And if only I can convince my cats not to hog the bed. I'm gonna be so cranky with this neck crick. :(

What?! You must be used to some pretty damn cold whether... 80*F isn't overly hot O_o... Its only... 26*C

As for the cats... I have that issue too, but my single cat seems to be an anti-TARDIS; it can expand far beyond its outer size and take up an entire single bed.

lol :D

No, not really used to cold weather, just "perfect" weather. Normally here in Sunny San Diego it's like 72ish and slightly overcast. It rarely rains, however recently it's been humid (like, 60-90+%) every day. That makes things just... eew. I don't mind the dry heat of a Santa Ana - desert dry air that comes over the mountains. It could be 104 and dry and I wouldn't really mind as long as I've got a fan. But 104 and humid (like it was last year) is just freaking miserable.

It never gets really, really freaking cold here either - so when it hits like 50 at night some times, I just can't even sleep. :) I'm used to the very narrow niche of 60-80 year round.

I find myself thinking though, that I do like the Fall season best because it usually has a nice nip to the nights which keeps me energetic and my brain in gear, but it's warm enough during the day that I'm not angry it's cold :)

So, yeah. I'm kinda used to that narrow range.

Haha I'm used to anything from like 7*C to 30ish*C (~45-90*F)...

I love Albany :D
