Alright, so we need to get a three-way post drawn up in here, but first thing's first: to get to Haven Base, are we simply taking the streets directly or will we be detouring?

Both. C24 is too decrepit for a strait rout, so we'll have to make lot's of detours, as well as basically just run for it down main street, which as I stated before, is the Hub of C24, more so than the Citadel was.

Yeah, full steam ahead man. I'll let you open, then I'll get in on it, then we wait for Deim?

Sounds like a plan.

"I'm willing to wait, You said you had a good idea, so I'll wait for it,"
If I did, I think I've forgotten it in the mayhem that has been my life of recent (and still is for the most part). But, hey, I'm going to see if I can edit an actual post into this one in this convenient 45 minutes I have free.
“A sound plan, lead the way.” Roland started, but the Vortigaunt was already well on its way, so, along with the others, he followed. For the first few minutes the Vort was perilously close to losing the group, but seemed to realise and slow its pace to keep in sight—after all, it was the only one with knowledge of the path to this so-called Haven. As he ran, with the screams of zombies and the guttural noises of the Gargantua too close behind them, Roland found it hard to believe that any refuge, let alone a supposed Haven, could exist in such hell as this. The negativity wasn’t helping at all, so he pushed it from his mind and instead focussed only on keeping his eyes on the Vort, and his legs moving.
With too many years of physical conditioning in this hell, and in the service of the Combine, Roland knew he could run on into the morning if it came to that, but he also knew that there were things—of which the Gargantua was only one—that would conspire to stop them, and likely succeed.
Calling to the Vort, Roland expressed this opinion, “I don’t care where your Haven is, Vort, but it isn’t in eyesight, and I don’t suspect we can out run a Gargantua for too much longer—nor the zombies for that matter.” The zombies had fallen back, but the moment the Gargantua moved on, they would pounce. Literally.

"You are indeed correct. We will have to out-wait it the." He said, giving off a faint smile as he waved his hand, then made a 100* turn, the others barely making it, the massive armored hand of the gargantuan slamming down in their place.
"Move!" He yelled, and they sprinted down the ally way. In a few seconds, flames began to chase after them. They just managed to turn a corner, when the fire caught up and slammed down the ally.
Panting, the group heard the annoyed roar of the Gargantuan, as it tried to shove its way through some buildings. "We are safe for the moment." the Vort began, "But it is fleeting. We must time our escape perfectly."
He peaked out from the cover of the ally, before returning to cover. "In a few moments, it's howling will attract the only thing stubborn and pestilent enough to attempt to fight it."
The others looked at the vort in disbelief "What could possibly try to fight a Garg?" Before the answer could be fully completed, a low, whistling growl slowly grew closer. The Gargantuans pounding slowly stopped, before a dog-like bark rang out, and there was a massive, violent smash. The Gargantuan screamed, and the Antlion Guard it was trading blows weathered the jackhammer slam the beast delivered.
"We have to move now, Haven is not far away, just a mile at the most." Said the vort. They had only a few minuets until the Antlion would most likely be dead, so they had to choose quickly. Stay in their ally, backs to the wall, or try to make it to haven
