Just thought I'd help populate some of these empty forums with some meaningful content What's your favourite Half-Life installment so far? N.B. If you like more than one installment the best, you can choose up to 2 options in the poll I'll update it and allow re-voting once Ep 3 comes out As for me, it has to be Opposing Force! Go Adrian Shepherd!

I played Half Life 2 first, (well I played Portal first, and then got into HL) then the Episodes, and THEN got the original Anthology and played through those. They're all so fun, some parts more challenging than others, but I still like Half Life 2 and Episode 2 the most so far. I'm in it for the plot, and there's PLENTY of that to go around. Half Life's graphics scared me lol - but I had to take it in stride, because obviously, the game was already 10 years old when I played it for the first time.

I love Episode Two. but you can't beat the Havok physics engine! Clobbering zombies with heavy cylinders and saw blades is a lot of fun

Yes. Yes that part was where I had my issues lol. I *adore* the saw blades. When I was first playing, my friend from City of Heroes warned me about Ravenholm - but I think I have more fun in that zone than anywhere else. Zombie hunts with fire, thrown objects, and waiting for them to crest the rooftops... oh yah. Oh heck yah.

Ravenholm was my favourite. Used the Gravity Gun all the way through! Nothing else

1) Half-Life2) Half-Life: Opposing Force Can't beat the original in my eyes. Been playing it since I was 7 (when it came out) and I still love it and play it. I mean, I think "hmm I'll play X part of Half-Life" and I wind up playing for hours because its that awesome.

I love the original! Although, admittedly I play through it with a mod which has the Counter-Strike weapons instead of the normal ones. Loads of fun!

Original and 2 for me. Though I played 2 on the Xbox 360, because my PC version of the Orange Box fucked my computer up! In Ravenholm, on that last roof waiting for the lift, using nothing but the gravity gun, I was panicking Until I figured out that the fast zombies can't catch me if I run in a circle One of em got so bored it jumped off onto another rooftop and ran off!

I loved Opposing Force and Blue Shift the most! I mean Gordon was cool and all, but man, Barney had to do some crazy stuff XD And well Adrian thats kinda self explanatory.
