Dr Robert "Flynn" Kessal


As Flynn wandered around the Mechanics Bay, stepping over the corpses of the dead HECU soldiers, he started to ponder the situation everyone was in. This can't have been an accident, he thought, I know most of the science team didn't want to experiment on that wierd crystal, unless it was some mistake. As he wandered, he found a side room, and entered. He looked across the whole antechamber, and found numerous defunct droids, most of which he had developed. Cha-ching! Looking through the parts, and scavenging bits of scaffolding and other items, he started to work. Soon the Dreadnought will have a new body, not as powerful, but functional.

Arabella Peyeman

Arabella without any incident made it to the helipads where she found only one Chinook remaining as the rest had already left with the survivors of ECRU. Mitchell was standing with a group of 3 well trained men that Arabella immediately recognised.

"Hiya guys, Mitchell." Arabella said happily. All 4 nodded in reply as Arabella walked towards Mitchell. "Mal is bearing up fine, he has a few injuries but he is adamant in finding this person who has been cropping up throughout his career. I'm hoping to be able to meet up with him again in the secret labs as he thinks he will find some answers there."

A flicker of concern passed across Mitchell's face before he answered, "Thanks Arabella, I hope that Mal doesn't think that I am leaving him but I need to be with my men and make sure that they are all safe. When you see him again tell him to look after himself and get back safe." With that Mitchell walked towards the Chinook and got aboard. "You stay safe too Arabella."

Arabella and her friends stepped back a few steps as the Chinook took off and took the last few survivors of the ECRU to safety and far away from Black Mesa. Once the helicopter was in the air Arabella turned to her friends,

"Gary, Mark and Chris! I'm glad you guys could come, it's been a while but I think we could have some fun here. I should warn you that you will come across alien creatures which are pretty freaky and there may also still be HECU units around that wont be happy to see us. Do you have any news for me?"

Gary replied, "Yeah we have had word from Simon, he has had a new mission objective for you from those higher up. They have no idea what was really going on here. They would like us to find out what was actually being researched and whether we can find any scientists or other people that would have further information. We are to extract them for further questioning back at base. Simon has a Chinook ready and waiting for us to bring him back some info."

"If that is the case then we should head towards the labs as there may be some scientists hiding out down there who may have survived the accident." said Arabella. "Let's go have some fun." Arabella added with a grin.
